Creation: Sweet Summer Shorts

Our Thoughts:  Karly from Paisley Roots made a pair of adorable summer shorts for her little girl using our Butterscotch Interlock. So sweet!

I have a confession to make. This is the first organic cotton I have ever used. I know, I know, but lovely fabric is harder to come by when the closest fabric store is over an hour away!

I got a yard of Butterscotch Interlock, along with some Swedish Tracing Paper (again another first!). The Swedish Tracing Paper is a complete game changer. Especially since I have to adjust every pattern I make for every single child, not to mention myself when I actually get around to making clothing for myself...

This has made adjusting the patterns so easy. I haven't had a chance to sew it up yet, but it's very durable and having that option is amazing. It's absolutely going to be a staple in my sewing notions from now on.
