How Do I Care For Fiber Projects?

Prevention - We recommend that projects stuffed with natural fibers be protected as much as possible, such as a pillow protector or duvet cover. This reduces the need to wash them, as the protector can be removed and washed.
Washing - Natural fibers can be washed if necessary - most projects can be washed in a washing machine with cold water and gentle cycle. If you are unsure about washing your project, we recommend testing first.
Drying - Care must be taken that the fiber dries completely (using a dryer is usually best). Before washing and drying, make sure that the fiber is secured inside the case or cover to prevent it from escaping. Check to be sure the fibers are completely dry
Weather - Avoid washing your natural fibers in humid weather.
