Great delivery and on time. High quality and exactly as described. This was a replacement for the order I never received. It kept saying it was shipped and on the way and delivery kept getting delayed. I use it with rice to make Rice Bags that heat up in the microwave. Light weight and very sustainable.
The first time I ordered these, I received a box with a sliced bag and about a cup of buckwheat loose in the box. That being said, it still worked perfectly fine. The second time, the bag was completely intact. The hulls make for a good pillow filling.
Again, a fantastic product!
Thank you for the products and services you provide.
GREAT PRODUCT USED IT AS ADDITIONAL STUFFING FOR MY BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS AND IT MAKES A PILLOW VERY COMFORTABLE
As expected. Not as dusty as I thought which was a plus. Needed at least two bags for a king size pillow. 3 might be better. Buying another bag to see…
I use this to stuff pillows for my cat and dog. They love the pillows to lie on I think because the pillow adjusts to their weight and gives a little bit is still firm support.
It was what ordered
Perfect for pillows. Clean and fast delivery
Not as much 'whole' buckwheat hulls as I'd prefer but useful and suffices for the price.
Most came intact but a large proportion were pre-smushed. I had to buy this as when I first cleaned out my buckwheat pillow, I made the mistake of removing it from its first casing rather than just cleaning the upper cover.
Does the job and still works.
This product arrived really quickly and is exactly what I needed. It makes great pillows and animal beds.
I must like these hulls enough because I purchased this larger bag after purchasing a smaller one previously (same brand). I am also using this and dried lavender (another reviewer mentioned the same thing) to fill pillows that I'm making with my vintage kimono fabric. There was some buckwheat flour in the bag along with the hulls, but it wasn't a huge amount (maybe 1/4 cup at the most for a 5lb bag, and this can be filtered out anyway). As far as I can tell, these are the best priced buckwheat hulls that I can find. The packaging is minimal (just a large and thin plastic bag closed securely), which I like, but it came in a honking big cardboard box all by itself, which was insane. I think that's more from the Amazon side than them, though. I would and already have bought these again.
This seemed a good deal but I see they’re a bit flattened with lots of sediment…I now see the description of “medium grade” which if I had noticed earlier, would have set me up to understand they were not full and fluffy 3D buckwheat husks. It’s a generous quantity and I’m currently enjoying using the bag itself as a cushion but I may upgrade to a higher quality husk for my project needs
I have used these hulls for years to make pillows. They offer good support, and help ease neck pain. I'd recommend them to anyone who is a craftsperson looking for an alternative to polyester fiberfill for their creations.
but its only 15% of the bag maybe.. i only need a bit but maybe wash them if you need alot. american standards i tell ya..
Love buckwheat husks for pillows and these are great
I needed some support pillows for post surgery. Combined these with lavender buds also bought from Amazon and they are comfortable with a soft, relaxing scent. Huge bag!
Great better for my purpose than other grains
Product was more dusty than I had anticipated, but served my needs.
I bought them to fill the pillow . But they contain too much tiny white particles & dusts . Not sure if it’s healthy .
As the buckwheat hulls in my meditation pillow break down I refill it every so often, this product did the trick.
Would purchase from them !!!
The order came in a timely way, smell is fine. The grade is medium or less, these are very, very dusty with lots of small particles. Too much sifting work to order more.
used this on a window camera mount stuffed the bag big time and its a great new window mount for my big camera
It’s pure buckwheat seeds.
10 lbs of hulls.
Very light weight and a 10lb is large and should fill my Lenscoat door edge beam bag!
Just what I needed. This effectively doubled the buckwheat in my pillow...
Easy to work with: I sewed them shut in a linen case and made a second case. There was enough for one pillow. No smell. Buckwheat is both comfortable and comforting.
