Sunrise-Sunset Tea Mats

Inspired by Japanese teatime traditions, these mats are shown in two colourways, one for morning tea and one for evening tea.

This set of tea mats in three sizes includes a large 32 cm x 2 cm / 12 ½” x 12 ½” table mat, a medium 26 cm x 26 cm / 10 ¼” x 10 ¼” table mat and a 13 cm x 13 cm / 5 ¼” x 5 ¼” coaster.

Finished with simple Sashiko stitching, the set is an easy project to make, and a great way to use up small scraps of fabric.
