Material has no selvedge edges

Did not see the word "Tubular" in the description! I've never seen material by the yard without selvedge edges. I'm hoping my seamstress knows how to work with this issue or I'm out $38.00. The material is very soft to the touch & appears to be fine quality, I hope it sews well as I bought it for a lining of a dress top.
