Definition of Slow Stitching: Mindful needlework that focuses on the process, bringing a sense of satisfaction to life and the finished product.

Hand stitching and visible mending, knitting and and crochet, embroidery and embellishment, or using a sewing machine to create a piece of clothing, pillow or quilt.  What do all of these have in common?  They invite us to slow down a bit, concentrate on a project, and take pleasure in the process. 

Whatever your skill level and interests, you can relax and enjoy expressing your creativity.  You can feel the satisfaction of working on a project a little at a time and completing it.  Then you can enjoy using your projects or give them as gifts.
